Aroha Stone (Piedamontite Schist) is given it’s beautiful pink and maroon colours by the manganese content. It also contains mica which gives Aroha Stone a beautiful sparkle. Found in South Westland NZ

The Breastplate is a symbol of strength and leadership. The pounamu breastplate is thought of as a shield, giving the wearer strength and offering them protection throughout their journey
